Numbers – Data – Facts
Ergonomics is more than just occupational health and safety.
It is an economic factor.
How physical strain, absenteeism, and the shortage of skilled workers affect your workplace—and why ergonomic solutions can support both people and processes alike. Watch the video now to learn more!
HOW PRODUCTIVE IS YOUR WORKPLACE?
How much physical strain is caused daily by lifting, bending, and working at uncomfortable heights? What impact does absenteeism among experienced workers have on your operations? And how can an ergonomically designed workspace make a difference?
THE PROBLEM DOESN'T START WHEN YOU GO ON SICK LEAVE.
WHY INVEST IN THE FIRST PLACE, IF IT ALREADY HURTS?
19,6 %*
According to the data used in the project, musculoskeletal disorders account for all days of work disability.
70 %*
the in theproject surveyed companies view demographic change as a future challenge.
TOO OFTEN REACTION RATHER THAN PREVENTION
The studies and interviews conducted as part of the project show: Ergonomics often only then becomes an issue, when symptoms are already present at that point.

A BETTER WORKSPACE DOES MORE THAN JUST CHANGE THE HEIGHT OF THE WORKSTATION.
EMPLOYEES RELIEVE
Unfavorable working postures and unnecessary physical exertion reduce.
SIMPLIFY WORKFLOWS
Reduce lifting, moving, and reaching, and minimize unnecessary movement.
SUPPORTING SKILLED WORKERS
Create working conditions that take into account diverse people and different stages of life.
PRODUCTIVITY THINKING AHEAD
Workpieces better positioning and Workstations integrate them into the process in a meaningful way.
In collaboration with Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences, Beck Maschinenbau has examined the relationship between ergonomics, work capacity, and productivity. The full presentation provides statistics, background information, real-world examples, and economic insights related to ergonomic workplace design.
Since 1984, Beck Maschinenbau has been developing and manufacturing ergonomic workplace solutions for industry and the skilled trades. The focus is not primarily on the product, but on the task at hand: What is being processed? What needs to be moved? Where do unnecessary strains or additional work steps arise?
WHERE DOES ERGONOMICS BEGIN IN YOUR COMPANY?
Together, we'll take a look at your workspace, your workpieces, and your processes.
